Hear first-hand what it's like to teach Cambridge Primary from one of our teachers in India. 🇮🇳⬇️
Reflecting on March & Embracing April with New Beginnings March has always been a transitional month in education—the closing of one academic session and the anticipation of a new journey ahead. This past year has been particularly transformative for me, both personally and professionally. I stepped into the 2024-25 session with a certain vision and am ending it with an entirely new perspective. My journey as an educator began with French—it has always been my forte and passion. However, growth lies beyond our comfort zones, and I truly realized this when I immersed myself in the Cambridge curriculum. Teaching the Cambridge Primary wing for the first time was initially challenging, pushing me to adapt and expand my skills. But as the year progressed, I found myself evolving—not just as an educator but as a learner. Cambridge’s structured and inquiry-driven approach has reshaped my teaching philosophy, making me more reflective, engaged, and confident in my practice. The RICER attributes (Responsible, Innovative, Confident, Engaged, Reflective) resonate deeply—not just for students, but for educators as well. Last month, I had the opportunity to attend a workshop on Early Years education, which further reinforced my appreciation for Cambridge’s commitment to young learners and teachers. As I step into April, I feel a sense of clarity and excitement. This year marks a new chapter for me—I will be fully dedicating myself to the Cambridge curriculum, pausing my journey with French for now. My focus is on growing as a Cambridge facilitator, embracing new opportunities, and continuing to learn every day. Here’s to a new academic year filled with possibilities, growth, and meaningful learning experiences! Today is the opening day of the Global Disability Summit in Berlin and I’m deeply moved to be here in person. Delegates from all over the world are here making pledges and creating action plans to advance disability inclusion in all sectors of life. The German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and King Abdullah II just opened the summit both outlining the vast progress their countries their countries have made and how they continue this work. At Cambridge International Education we have our own reasons to be proud with the progress we have made on inclusion in education and I’m proud to say that we are launching here today our own commitments on inclusive education to show that we are serious about our role in disability inclusion. Also very glad to see some familiar faces here - With Nidhi Singal #GDS2025 #disabilityinclusion #inclusiveeducation
